Welcome to The Church At The Pines

We are a community of Christians who meet together on Sundays to worship God. Our aim is to do this in a way that is meaningful, informal and friendly, discovering the relevance of faith in life today. We are a Local Ecumenical Partnership, meaning our services reflect both Anglican and Methodist traditions and we welcome all ages to come and enjoy our weekly Sunday services (11am) and our weekday activities.

Inclusive Church

Inclusive Church is a network of churches, groups and individuals uniting together around a shared vision:

"We believe in inclusive Church - church which does not discriminate, on any level, on grounds of economic power, gender, mental health, physical ability, race or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ."

Services

 

Our Sunday services start at 11am, all are warmly welcomed.

 

 

Friday 3rd April -

  • Good Friday kids workshop (11am) 
  • Reflective worship (12pm) led by Rev Wes Hampton

 

Sunday 5th April - Easter Day worship led by Brian Gennery (all age worship)

 

Sunday 12th April - Worship (all age worship)

 

What's On

 

As well as our Sunday services, we have the following events and regular meetings:

 

  • Walk and Talk - 4th Saturday of every month at 2pm
  • House Group - Wednesday evenings at 7.45pm
  • Ladies Group - 3rd Thursday of the month at 10am
  • Men's Group - breakfast club on 1st Saturday of the month, meeting at 9.30am
